Lee Hodgkinson has more than 25 years of experience in senior roles in professional services, working closely with corporate boards and finance executives of many of Canada’s largest mining companies. He is known for his signature relationship-based approach in serving clients, in Canada and Internationally, through a succession of progressively more senior positions at KPMG, including as National Mining Partner and Global Mining Leader.
Lee’s work as a trusted advisor in client engagements has given him direct exposure to Board Audit Committees, Boards of Directors and C-Suite executives across many publicly traded companies, providing broad experience in corporate strategy, corporate governance, capital allocation, financing alternatives, enterprise risk management, confidential investigations, M&A, Board succession, IT & cyber and sustainability.
Lee Hodgkinson is a sought-after subject matter expert on a variety of financial and auditing issues, and has participated in Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Technical Accounting Groups, CPA Canada’s Annual Audit Committee Forum, Canadian Public Accounting Board (CPAB) Annual Audit Committee Seminars, and the Joint PDAC CPA Committee on Financial Reporting issues.
He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
