Vic Chevillon, M.Sc., C.P.G.
Mr. Chevillon is a Senior Exploration Geologist with 48 years of experience. He joins the Board through Discovery's 2019 merger with Levon Resources where he was the VP Exploration and Director for over 10 years and, most recently, also acted as CEO. With Levon, he led the discovery of the Cordero deposit, and he led the entirety of the resource defintion of the deposit to date as well as the regional exploration at Cordero. Prior to Levon, Mr. Chevillon had over 30 years of exploration experience working with major mining companies principally within the U.S., including Noranda Exploration, Homestake Mining, Placer Dome and Barrick Gold. He has held key exploration roles in Placer's / Barrick's Nevada Gold Mines, where he conducted a geologic assessment that lead to the Turquoise Ridge Gold Mine acquisition. In addition, he directed the exploration assessment of the Bald Mountain Gold Mine. As consultant in the Great Basin of Nevada, he identified the diatreme Au model at the Spring Valley Au discovery. With Noranda Mr. Chevillon lead the acquisition and discovery of the New World Au, Cu, Ag Project, Montana and he developed key features of the successful exploration model at the Blackbird cobalt deposit in Idaho.
